Jake Ferro Although he did not win the World Poker Tour (WPT) event, Jake Ferro was the Player of the Year for Season XIX.

How did he do it? Like Altman, Ferro also ran a long way at the WPT Tampa station in June and finished 39th with a result of US$15,690. Then, he achieved a greater success at the $3,500 buy-in Seminole Hard Rock'N' Rolling Poker Open in South Florida in November.

"I am very happy to win the WPT Player of the Year in Season XIX and look forward to participating in more World Poker Tour events in 2022," Ferro said. "It was a dream to engrave my name on the Mike Sexton WPT Champions League, but being so close will only make me more eager for the upcoming season."

Let us once again congratulate Jake Ferro for winning the WPT Player of the Year in Season XIX.
